North American Fellowship of YMCA Retirees
Retiree News, Photos, Travels and Honors
New Chapter Website for detail and communication

About a year prior to the 2006  Midwest Reunion, the Brandenburg and
Messer Chapters initiated a communication tool on the web with the
address
www.ymcaretiree.org

They kept the site operative after that
reunion for membership,
news, and information sharing.
We are pleased to announce that the site will
expand on Labor Day to include news, photos,
members, program schedule and much more
from the Hoosier-Buell Chapter as well.

The new site logo is ---------------->

NAFYR Membership has it's privileges !

In fact, the best of YMCA Retirement communication and fellowship
is
only available to members of NAFYR.

And the ultimate fellowship experience is for all of us
when we
add a chapter membership (some have multiple)
to our  group fellowship

Partly Personal from the Webmaster

For the past few weeks I have been having a
variety of tests leading up to a badly needed
hip replacement.

About 10 days ago, a heart scan score sent us
in another direction.  But following an
angiogram yesterday (June 19) I have been
cleared with no suspected artery obstructions
and a very good heart.

We will now ave the hip replacement on July 6,
followed by about 6 weeks of physical therapy
and limited activity.
